Transnet Freight Intl Ltd, Clearing and Forwarding Agents was established in year 2010. Following many years in the industry working for other large Clearing / Forwarding and Shipping companies the founders saw the need for a personalized and fast turn-around agency, particularly in their specialist field.
We are a licensed Freight Forwarder in Kenya, and we have outsourced warehousing services and open yards storage. We employ around 20 multi-lingual staff under various divisions. Thanks to our knowledgeable, skilled professional, and well-trained staff, global network partners, and advancement in information technology, we can seamlessly handle the most complex and challenging assignments.
The company has grown rapidly since its inception and, in addition to clearing vehicles and other general cargo for our Kenyan-based clients, we also service the neighboring countries surrounding Kenya, (Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania), by providing a much-needed service to clients wanting to import their own cargos into these neighboring countries. We arrange clearance and movement of all types of goods and general cargo including motor vehicles and have Road bonds in place to facilitate the movement of these goods in bond via Kenya into neighboring countries
